Evolution of Day 2:
The book for tomorrow was edited to remove pages and create a faster read-aloud.
Book walk was scrapped due to time/interest.
Evolution of Day 3:
The book will be an animated songbook tomorrow.
Evolution of Day 4:
Students engaged with Story songs and other go/stop-themed songs.
Future Evolution:
Keep the interactive songbook structure, as well as the stations, for the future. Emphasize the use of songs, including during transitions.
Success: Students played, and leaders could model go/stop repeatedly.Success: go/stop-themed songs engaged learners, and one camper even tried to return during another session. They liked the songs so much.Success: Campers were calm, engaged, and took part in many stations. Success: Campers completed stations as a group for the first time today!
